According to Rev1, and according to studies, organisations with diverse leadership perform better. Yet, disadvantaged founders (especially women and people of colour) face various challenges when founding their businesses, beginning with a lack of capital and early funding. DE&I Grants help level the playing field and create a pipeline of innovative new firms in Ohio.

Rev1's Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion Award Fund has given the firm a $100,000 grant (DE&I). The money will be used to support salaries for key personnel in order to speed feature development for new markets. The company's next market focus will be athletic events and attractions.
